LANGLEY, James H. – of Davison, age 77, passed away March 29, 2016 at University of Michigan Hospital – Ann Arbor. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM – 2 PM & 4-8 PM Friday and 10 – 11 AM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
James was born in Goodrich, MI on August 20, 1938, son of the late Harold and Marion (Harvey) Langley. He married Sandra A. Lindow on July 1, 1961 and she preceded him in death on February 13, 2002. James loved farming, spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family gatherings. He worked at Dupont for 30 years and was a farmer for 55 years.
James is survived by his daughter Cindy and Joseph Schian; granddaughters, Ashley and James Hascall, Amy and Troy Smith; great-granddaughters, Zella and Gracie Hascall, Kelsey Smith; great-grandson, Levi Smith; special friend, Donna Youngs; sister, Sue Tucker. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Jo Palmer.
