HILL, Virginia Marjorie "Gini"- Age 87, of Flint Township, died May 9, 2017. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday May 13 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 East Bristol Rd. Flint. Fr. Robert McGraw officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.Visitation will be held 1-4 PM and 5-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Redeemer for Masses or North End Soup Kitchen. Virginia was born October 7, 1929 in Flint, the daughter of Victor L. and Marjorie A. (Lawler) George. She married Willis E. Hill in Charleston, South Carolina on March 28, 1953. Virginia was a graduate of St. Mary's College (Notre Dame). She was an active member of Holy Redeemer since 1961. Virginia enjoyed scrabble, crossword puzzles, summers on Lake Fenton and winters in Casey Key, Fl. She is survived by her husband, Willis; and children, William (Gail), Brian, Thomas, Christopher, Philip, Andrew (Sharon), James (Martha), Mary (Brian) Flynn, Anthony (Maria); eighteen grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Victor George, Thomas "Tim" George.
