John Miles Fuller
Age 68 of Stanwood passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Hurley Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Sunday, November 9th at First United Methodist Church in New Lothrop with Pastor Lee Sayer officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Saturday from 2pm to 8pm with a Masonic Service at 7pm and on Sunday at the church from 1pm until the time of service.
John was born November 4, 1946 in Perry, the son of Dolph and Edna (Dibble) Fuller.
He graduated from Corunna High School, Class of 1964; he then went on to further his education at Michigan State University where he received his Associate Degree.
John was a true outdoors man; he loved to be outdoors, whether he was golfing, hunting or fishing, especially for trout. He also enjoyed wood working. John had a true passion for baseball; he enjoyed playing or watching his children and grandchildren play ball.When he wasn't watching his grandchildren play, he would be watching his favorite team the Detroit Tigers. But most of all John loved spending time with his family and friends.
He married Karen (Morton) Lowery-Fuller in Williamsburg, VA on October 10, 2007.
John retired from General Motors as a supervisor at the Delphi plant after 30 years of service.
John is survived by his wife Karen Fuller; two sons John (Robin) Fuller and Patrick (Stephanie) Fuller; two daughters Adrienne (Brian) Griffith, and Amy Fuller; grandchildren Michael, Jordan, Brittnee, Tylan, Evan, Mariah, Alex, Aubree, Luke, Caela, Trenton, Torri, Trevor and Gary; parents Dolph and Edna; sister Judy (Tom) Lighthill; nephew Aaron (Jennifer) Lighthill and niece Ann (Paul) DeLano.
He was predeceased by his grandson Jackson and granddaughter Katie.
