Julane M. Carr “Jo”, age 94 found peace on Friday, June 7, 2019 in Fenton, Michigan. A small family gathering will take place at a later date. Julane was born on November 22, 1924 in Flint, Michigan to the late Benjamin and Ina Taylor. On October 7, 1950, Julane married the love of her life Maxwell Carr in Flint, Michigan. Julane enjoyed decorating her house inside and outside, from updating to furniture to yardwork, Julane had an eye for design. She also enjoyed playing the piano, the joyful color pink, and was a devout Christian Scientist. But most of all she loved every moment she spent with her husband and family, especially while playing board and card games. Julane was a special person and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her sons, Scott Carr of Portland, OR, Christopher (Mary) Carr of Grand Blanc, MI; grandchildren: Cameron (Elizabeth) Carr, Courtney (Victor George) Carr; several nieces and nephews; and her loving cat, Princess. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxwell Carr; parents, Benjamin and Ina Taylor; sister, Joyce Kellogg.
