KASCO, Walter L. – of Clio, age 78, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Jim Watson, Minister, officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10AM until time of services at 3PM.
Wally was born May 29, 1935 in Highland Park, MI to the late Julius and Helen (Amaczy) Kasco. He served in the US Air Force. Wally was united in marriage to Sandra Womack on December 14, 1957. He lived in Clio since 2001 coming from Troy. Mr. Kasco retired from the US Postal Service in 1990 with 33 years seniority. He was a member of the Mt. Morris Church of Christ and the DAV. He enjoyed riding his Harley, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Surviving are: wife, Sandra; children, Kelly Spanke of Lake Orion, Daniel (Renee) Kasco of Otisville; 6 grandchildren, Amanda (Kevin) Southern, Baley, Zach, Cody, Nicky and Dylan; 3 great grandchildren, Aiden, Emma and Amelia; brother, Jerry Kasco of NC.
