Phyllis Lee Jones-Kinyon, age 71, of Lapeer died December 3, 2018 at McLaren hospital in Flint with her family beside her.
Phyllis was born May 17, 1946 in Flint, Michigan to the late Edgar and Dorothy Wiltse. She married Kenneth Kinyon Jr. on February 15, 2015. Phyllis was a member of the Richfield Church of the Nazarene, past member of 4H - Lucky Clovers, and an Eastside Mission Volunteer. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Ken, children: Tammy (John) Stachlewicz, Sandy (Steve) Owen, siblings: Duane (Jan) Wiltse, Joyce Kovacs, Larry (Kathryn) Wiltse, Jeannie (Pat) Craton, Harold (Mary Kay) Wiltse, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and first husband Roger Jones.
Cremation has taken place and Celebration of Phyllis’s life will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Richfield Church of the Nazarene where friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service. Following the service Wednesday, there will be a wake at 1:00 PM at the Lapeer VFW Post.
