ESHBAUGH, Colleen May (Rowe) – of Davison, age 89, passed away January 10, 2018 at Devonshire Retirement Assisted Living. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, January 15, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Bo Rin Cho and Rev. P. Thomas Wachterhauser co-officiating. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM Sunday and 10 AM until time of service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army or your favorite charity.
Colleen was born in Flint, MI on July 6, 1928, the daughter of the late William A. and Teressa M. Rowe. She moved with her parents in 1934 to Campbellford, Ontario, Canada. Colleen graduated from Business School in 1947, and worked as payroll clerk in the Campbellford Woolen Mill. She married Raymond E. Eshbaugh in St. John’s United Church, Campbellford, Ont., Canada on August 21, 1954. Colleen was a member for many years of the Davison United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her two daughters. Colleen enjoyed traveling and her hobbies varied from knitting, crocheting, china painting, and her most favorite pastime was needlepointing and petit pointing.
Colleen is survived by her two daughters, Lou Anne (Jon) Bauldry, Barbara Ann (Virgil) Hutchinson; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon S. McCullough; brother, William H. (Phyllis) Rowe; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Marnie E.(George) Meades, and their son Stephen E. Meades; and great-grandson, Timothy Hool; and many other relatives.
