ENGLAND, Christine R. – of Genesee, age 56, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 with family by her side. Funeral services will be held 11AM Friday, August 9, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 4PM until 8PM and Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Salvation Army.
Christine was born October 17, 1962 in Flint, Michigan to Royce and Norine (Jacobs) Gilbertson. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1981. Christine married Lundon England on May 25, 1985 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Flint. She retired from Genesee Schools in 2010 with 12 years of service. Christine was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Flint. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, and cooking. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband, Lundon England; Daughters: Kayla (Aaron) Comer, and Leah England; Grandchildren: Kadyn Comer, and Aviana Comer; Mother, Norine Gilbertson; Sisters: Debbie (Kenneth) Lewis, and Roxanne (Daniel) Tony; Many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
