McAULAY, Frances Marie - age 93, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, December 16, 2017. Funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. Frances was born January 19, 1924 in Tacoma, Washington. She came to Michigan in 1944 and married William McAulay in 1954, who preceded her in death in 1994. She was an avid bowler in prior years and had traveled to every state in the US except Alaska and Hawaii. She loved working in her yard, watching football, and spending time with her family and friends. Frances in survived by: her son, Ken (Cheryl) Motes of Lakeland, Florida; her daughter, Nancy (Bob) Jackson of Davison, Michigan; grandchildren, Mike, Marie, Michelle, and Allan; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Sheldon, Amanda, Allison, Jordon, Conner, Mathew; and her good friend, Judy Martin; many nieces and nephews.
