HERRIN, Una Versa – Of Flint, age 87, Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Don R. Dennis officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 11a.m.– 2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Una was born in Paragould, Arkansas on November 29, 1926, the daughter of Dallas and Ocie (Melton) Garner.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry of Ocala, FL and
Glenn of Flint;
5 grandchildren;
8 great-grandchildren;
2 great-great-grandchildren and
2 sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie, on December 16, 1997; grandson, Michael Herrin; great-grandson, Jason Robart and great-granddaughter, Addyson Knoll.
