CLEVENGER, Donna J. – of Clio, age 86, died Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2019 at Bethany United Methodist Church in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Cathi Huvaere officiating. Burial will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Wildwood Cemetery in Tawas, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 1:00 Pm to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
Donna was born March 5, 1933 in Flint, Michigan to the late Lewis and Mary (Grier) Lee. She graduated from Clio High School and Mott Community College. Donna married Dick D. Clevenger in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Donna was employed by Citizens Bank and Hudson’s. She was a volunteer and also on the Board of Directors at the Senior Center of Iosco County for many years. Donna enjoyed reading, coloring, and was an avid fan of Snoopy. She also loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Dean (Michelle) Clevenger, Linda Retherford, Judith (Kenneth) Wray, June (Michael) Penoyer; Brother, Donald Lee; 9 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and Special Friend, Patricia Carlson. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Dick Clevenger; Siblings, Helen Lee, Violet Campbell, David Lee, Thomas Lee.
