CAMPER, Josephine – of Davison, age 76, passed away Monday, January 28, 2020 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, February 3, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Jeffrey Glover officiating. Entombment will take place at 2 PM Monday in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Monday.
Josephine Cavazos was born in San Antonio, TX on February 20, 1943, daughter of late Miguel & Josephine (Torres) Cavazos. She worked most of her life in the dietary field, retiring from McLaren Flint in 2012.
Josephine is survived by her five children Josephine (Jerry) Allen, James “Jake” Camper, Gina Camper, Jesse Camper, Kimberly (Aaron) Navarre; 16 grandchildren, Jerry, Sarah, Josephine, Jessica, Jesse, Wade, Nadeen, Hannah, Winona, Natasha, Faith, Raymond, Sanibelle, Donovan, Peter and Aubree; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Freddie and Ray; sisters, Juanita, Mary and baby-sister, Genevieve (Frank). She was preceded in death by husbands, James Camper and Ernesto Medina; granddaughter, Kayla Allen; great-granddaughter, Miranda Allen; brothers, Miguel and George; sister, Glenda; nephew, Robert “Tito”; nieces, Melissa and Evette.
