ALMASSY, Phyllis A. - Of Burton, age 88, died Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 6pm Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Larry Warsinski officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service. Private burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Visitation 3pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Phyllis was born in Gladwin, Michigan on April 2, 1931, the daughter of the late Floyd and Pauline (Fries) Hutson. Phyllis volunteered at Flint Osteopathic Hospital and Genesys Regional Medical Center gift shops for many years. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons, Craig, Michael, Douglas (Jenifer) and Jeffrey (April);
Numerous grandchildren;
Sister, Marilyn Ellis;
Brothers, Tom (Carol) Hutson and David Hutson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis and brothers, Wilbur and Donald Hutson.
