DYBALL, Jack – Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Abbey Park.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jack was born in Clio, Michigan on May 10, 1925, the son of the late Charles and Marie (Palmer) Dyball.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Jack and Margaret "Peggy" were members of St. Paul Episcopal Church.
He enjoyed watching the Tigers and tennis; was an avid Michigan fan and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are three children, Stephen Dyball and wife Sandra of Grand Blanc,
Dr. Mark Dyball and wife Kelli of Fenton,
Ann Haas and husband Paul of Fenton;
four grandchildren, Dr. Paul Dyball and wife Jessica,
Jacqueline and husband Micah Widder,
Matthew Haas,
Sarah Haas and fiance' Andrew Ford;
two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Kaylee Widder;
sister-in-law, Fay Dyball of Clio;
caregiver and friend, Linda Sherman;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy; son, Richard and brother, Harry.
