MATTHEWS, Ms. Helen - Age 67, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her residence. Family hour 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1035 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11 a.m. Pastor Patrick Sanders, Sr., officiating. Interment River Rest Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Ms. Matthews will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., and may be viewed from 1-8 p.m. Monday with family present from 6-8 p.m.
