GOYETTE (MILLER), Gladys Dardanella – Of Flushing, age 96, died Monday, December 19, 2016 at Hyde Park Assisted Living.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, officiating.
Private Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County.
Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Gladys was born on September 3, 1920 in Texas, daughter of John and Mary Miller.
Her childhood was spent in Caldwell, Missouri before moving to Flint, Michigan, where she married Joseph Roy Goyette in October, 1945.
She spent her retirement years in Lake Fenton, before moving to Hyde Park Assisted Living in Flushing.
She will be remembered always for her kind treatment of others, and her great sense of humor.
Survived by daughters, Suzanne (Thomas) Pazzi,
Dianne (Dean) Ouellette,
Erin Lechota;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Roy Goyette; son-in-law, James Lechota; sisters, Katherine Haines and Melba Eaves and brother, John Miller.
