ISAGUIRRE, Gilbert - Of Oscoda, age 81, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 1-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Isaguirre will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.
Gilbert was born on December 17, 1933 in Flint, Michigan, the son of the late Bruno and Isabel (Gonzalez) Isaguirre.
He spent four years in the Air Force.
He worked 40 years at Buick Motor Division in Flint as a Skilled Tradesman in the Power House.
Surviving are children, Chari Sadinsky of Toronto, Canada,
Suzan and Dr. Robert Springer of Denver, CO,
Steve and Joyce Viall of Durand, MI,
Janice and Martin Duff of Clio, MI;
sister, Rachel West of Swartz Creek;
numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isabel and Bruno Isaguirre; sisters, Otilia “Tillie” Rodriguez of Saginaw, Antonia “Casilda” Nava of Paracho, Mexico, Maria Elisa Warner and Martha Isaguirre of Burton; brother, Salvador Isaguirre of Flint and the love of his life, Laura Viall.
