TAYLOR, Joe D. – of Davison, age 84, passed away September 18, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice of Davison. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for research.
Joe was born in Lapeer, MI on March 31, 1927, son of the late Lynn and Estelle (DeGroat) Taylor. He married Phyllis E. Seymour on August 7, 1970. Phyllis preceded him in death on November 13, 2009. Joe was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Davison and the Davison V.F.W. Post #4087. He retired from AC-Spark Plug Division.
Joe was a wonderful husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
