MEIER, Brian Gerald - Age 41, of Flint, died Tuesday August 27, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, September 4, United in Christ Lutheran Church, 6330 Corunna Road, Flint. Pastor Steve Stalhut and Pastor Angel Garcia officiating. Burial to follow in Byron Cemetery, Byron. Visitation will be held 3PM-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held 10AM until time of service at the church on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Layla Meier Education Fund. Brian was born May 19, 1978 in Flint, the son of Gerald "Jerry" and Mary Jane ( Eder) Meier. He worked at Home depot and Lowes in flint for many years. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his daughter. Surviving are: daughter, Layla Meier of Flint; parents, Jerry and Mary Jane Meier of Flint; sister, Kristine (Larry) Durr; nephew Jonathan Durr both of Highland Park; uncle, Jim (Charlene) Anderson; cousins, Paula Hrmika and Steve Anderson all of Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Verna Eder and Paul and Mildred Meier. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
