WELCH, Richard Thomas II “Bo”– of Flint, age 45, passed away October 11, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Larry Nelson officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, Brianne Welch. The family has requested that anyone attending Bo’s service, please wear your Detroit Lions gear.
Bo was born in Clovis, NM on September 27, 1972, son of Richard T. Welch and Cynthia “Gail” Eads and his stepfather, Gerald Eads. He was the 2nd born of 5 siblings. Bo was an avid Detroit sports fan. He loved the Lions and he could name off every player and position of the team. Bo was also a Michigan fan. He liked to golf, hang out with friends, enjoyed playing and watching family sports, including baseball, football, hockey and golf.
Bo is survived by his daughters, Nechoal Brux and Brianne Welch; mother, Gail (Gerald) Eads; granddaughter, Kiana Brux; sister, April (Cannon) Fritz, brothers, Terry A. (Marycris) Welch, Leonard K. (Rebecca) Welch, and Jeremy K. Eads; grandfather, K.C. Ferrell. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Welch; grandmother, Marcella Ferrell; grandparents, Elva M. and Robert S. Welch.
