OSTRANDER, Thelma Elizabeth - of Flint, age 92, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold Polk officiating. Burial will be in Thetford Township Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday and 10-11 AM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
Thelma was born in Geneva, NY on January 16, 1922, daughter of the late Emmet and Sarah Paget. Thelma worked at EI Dupont for 43 years and never missed a day of work. She enjoyed golfing and bowling. Thelma was an avid bingo and card player. She also enjoyed trips to the casino and traveling.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Donalda (Randall) Strous; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Fred Ostrander on October 17, 1994.
