Vivian Evon Williams of Davison, age 93, died Wednesday September 30, 2020, surrounded by family. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Vivian’s memory to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
Vivian was born in Flint Michigan on August 27, 1927 the daughter of the late Orie & Viola (Coe) Birdsley and has resided in the Davison area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to Rex Williams in 1972 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Vivian loved to travel whether it was an Ocean Cruise, camping with family or her time in Old Town Florida she was always ready to go. She owned and operated Pete’s Gas House in Davison Township for many years with her children’s father Pete Behlen.
Surviving are children: Yvonne Brokaw, Fred Behlen, Janet Mondeau, and Gail Hays; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; step daughter: Marsha Moore; brothers: Jerry Birdsley and Edwin Birdsley; sister: Phyllis Nutt, and host of extended family. She is preceded in death by: stepchildren; Richard “Dick” Williams, and Carol Florida; sisters: Frances, Lucy, and Eddie; brother: Orie Birdsley, and father of her children: Pete Behlen.
