ORME, Michael - Of Grand Blanc, age 68, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 11am Monday, December 9, 2019 at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 West Court Street, Flint.
Pastor Jeremy Peters officiating.
Visitation 10am Monday at church until the time of the service.
Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Michael was born in Leicester, England on June 23, 1951, the son of the late Douglas and Cynthia Cicely (Hodgett) Orme. On July 8, 1972, he married Janis Abrams at Court Street United Methodist Church and she preceded him in death. Michael served in the United States Coast Guard and was employed with and retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. Michael attended Court Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed card games and was very good at poker. He also enjoyed fishing and boating. Michael loved Christmas and was a very devoted family man.
Surviving are daughters, Heather (Karl) Daum and Lisa (Andy) Epton;
Grandchildren, Isabelle Williams and Macgregor Epton;
Siblings, Derek (Karen, Joanne (Ron) and Patricia;
Many nieces and nephews;
And mother-in-law, Margaret Abrams.
He was also preceded in death by siblings, Robin and Ken.
