BOGNAR, Dorothy Diane. – of Goodrich, age 56, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Heritage Manor of Flint. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Stan Bognar officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service at 2PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Dorothy was born October 26, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to the late George Andrew and Therese Mary (Snippes) Bognar. She was a sous-chef for a restaurant in Kalamazoo. Above all, Dorothy loved her family and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Family was very important to her and she was always a good friend to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Siblings: Sherry Hains of Flushing, George (Terry) Bognar of California, Maggie Thomas of Flushing, Gena Bognar of Flushing, Ken (Ann) Bognar of Croswell and Stan (Jaime) Bognar of Millington; Nieces and nephews: Sean, Tonya, George Bognar III, James, Zach, Liz, Janette, Ibra, Abigail and Isabelle; Special friend, Mandy. Dorothy was also preceded in death by her nephew, Levi Garrett. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heritage Manor, Absolute Hospice and the Ridge for all their love and care.
