BARTMAN JR., Michael – of Flint, age 67, passed away suddenly on August 13, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, August 20, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5199 Richfield Rd., Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11 AM – 8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM on Sunday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday at church.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on December 10, 1950, son of the late Michael and Rosalie (Bublas) Bartman. He graduated from Holy Rosary Catholic School in 1969. Mike married Cynthia Jane Boulton on September 27, 1975. He was a co-owner and operator of Bartman Excavating & Demolition. Mike had a collection of 1959 Cadillac cars and raised peacocks for many years. Most of all, he enjoyed hunting and fishing at Pt. Au Gres Marina Fishing Village. His many family and friends there will forever miss hearing “Good Morning Au Gres!” on the marina radio each morning. Mike’s greatest love was spending time with his family.
Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cindy Bartman; children, David (Michelle) Bartman, Sara Bartman, Matthew Bartman, Andrea (Paul Carey) Bartman, Michael John (Michelle) Bartman and Scott Bartman; grandchildren, Kathryn Bartman, Jakob Bartman, Madison Carey and Austin Carey; brothers, Larry (Toni) Bartman and Gregory Bartman; many extended family and friends, especially fishing buddies Sue and Dana.
