Bridget Ann (Wruck) Drumm, age 84, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. A funeral mass celebrating Bridget will be held at 11am Thursday, August 29th, 2024 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, Michigan with Fr. Matthew Bonk officiating (livestream at www.flintcatholic.org). A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10am in the church vestibule.
Bridget was born on September 22nd, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan to Anthony Edward Wruck and Rowena Bridget Wruck (Burns). Bridget was one of four children and graduated from St. John Vianney School in 1957.
She married Denny Drumm in 1964 at St. John Vianney and they celebrated 60 years of marriage this past February. Bridget remained an active member of St. John Vianney parish her entire life and her church community has been a source of great joy, inspiration, and connection.
Bridget and Denny raised 4 children in the Catholic faith, all of whom attended St. John Vianney and Powers Catholic High School. They were blessed with 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Bridget loved her family fiercely and was the glue that kept everyone together, including her in-laws, her numerous cousins, her nieces and nephews, and everyone else who loved a good potato salad. She had countless close friends, including some since grade school.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jim Wruck and Tom Wruck. She is survived by her loving husband, Denny; her four children: John (Cindy), Michael (Kathy), Thomas (Emmanuelle), Sarah (Stephen); eight grandchildren: Raquell (John), Alison, Darrick (Shelby), Jacob, Luna, Raphael, Tommy, and Delphine; three great-grandchildren: Hunter, Scarlett and Louis; her older brother, Tony Wruck and many more family members.
