FIELDS, William “Bill” – of Davison, age 72, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday and 10-11 AM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
Bill was born in Flint, MI on March 4, 1946, son of the late Garley and Alma (Purcell) Fields. He married LaVonne Fry on June 7, 1969 and she preceded him in death on December 30, 2008. Bill graduated from St. Mary’s – Flint in 1964 and retired from GM – AC Delco. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings and NASCAR. Bill also enjoyed playing fantasy baseball.
Bill is survived by his children, W.C. (Dawn) Fields, Autumn Fields, Jennifer (Troy) Teller; grandchildren, Trammell Fields, Connor and Addyson Moulton, Abigail, Avery and Austin Teller; siblings, Bonnie (Gene) Chicilli, Sally (Bill) Pray. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Guy Fields, Phyllis Meredith and Marjorie Parks.
