HEALY, Jerrie F. (Williams) Evans/Young. - of Burt, age 81, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Hospice House of Shiawassee County. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jerrie’s life will be held at 11:30AM Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church - 6205 Birch Run Rd., in Birch Run. Pastor Fred Smith officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 11:30AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of Shiawassee County or St. Mary's of Michigan Guardian Angel Respite & Adult Day Services.
Jerrie was born May 7, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to the late Kenneth and Martha (Freeman) Williams. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1452 of Clio. Jerrie enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, and reading.
Surviving are: Children: Kenneth J. (Teresa) Evans, and Alisha L. Evans; Sons in law: Glenn Brookins, John Gunnels, and Donald Comstock; Grandchildren: Nicholas Brookins (Kelly Wheeler), Neil (Melanie) Downey-Evans, Matthew (Kierstin) Gunnels, Chelsea (Brandan) Adams, Cody Gunnels, Kayli Comstock (Dalton Vollmer), Tyler Comstock, Tori Comstock, Jillian Comstock, Lyndsay (Jeremyah) Kelley, Buck Miller, and Ethan Miller; Great grandchildren: Kaya Brookins, Zachary Evans, Jameson Kelley, Brantley Adams, Easton Kelley, Corban Adams, Owen Vollmer, and Ryleigh Adams; Siblings: Mona Drubin, Toni Anderson, Roberta “Bobby” Hardin, Martha “Jo” Herman, Sandra (Greg) Rothoff, Darrell (Pat) Dunckel, Mary Shue (Stacy Ryan); Many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husbands: Kenneth Evans, William Young, and Leo Healy; Daughters: Dawn Brookins, Martha “Valerie” Gunnels, and Amy Comtock; Siblings: David Dunckel, Ruby Dunckel, Lillian Cunningham, Kittie Hill, Richard Dunckel, Elsie Dunckel, Reuben Dunckel.
