OBERLIN, Patricia A. - Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, March 22, 2014. Funeral arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1PM to 8PM Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Patricia was born November 10, 1940 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Gordon and Leila (Edmonds) Walter. She married Richard Oberlin in Flint, Michigan on December 5, 1959. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1994. Patricia enjoyed crossword puzzles, quilting, playing cards, bowling and especially being with her family. Surviving are: daughters, Gail and husband Dennis Schaefer of Fenton, Jill and husband Tim Wurn of Fenton; son , Rick and wife Tammy Oberlin of Swartz Creek; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, step-brother, Mark and wife Juanita Edmonds of FL; step sister, Nancy and husband Ed Stob of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
