HOLLIFIELD III, Walter “Butch” – of Davison, age 62, passed away November 1, 2016 at his residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 6 PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 2-6 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Walter was born in Chester, SC on May 8, 1954, son of the late Walter Hollifield and Frances (Benson) Revis. Walter enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and plowing snow in the winter. He especially loved spending time with his family and his dog Buddy.
Walter is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lucas and Stephanie Hollifield; granddaughter, Addison Hollifield; sister, Fran Harris; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Alice Revis; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Hollifield.
