DIMOND, Helen D. – Of Flint, age 71, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Visitation 1-3 and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Flint, Michigan on February 5, 1947, the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Rogers) Minier.
On August 5, 1972 she married Bruce Dimond in Flint.
She was a former member of the Forresters.
She loved traveling to Arizona and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are husband, Bruce;
children, Scott (Deborah) Dimond, Wendy Smith (Sam Wolcott), Tammy Tracy;
grandchildren, Brooke, Kyle, Blake, Kelsey, Matthew Jr., Madalyn Riley, Kamron, Gavin and Avery;
great-grandchildren, Brystol, Kashton and Amelia;
brother, Robert (Edna) Minier;
sisters, Sherry (Bob) Bell,
Karen (Jack) Johnson,
Shelly (Mark) Bacon and Eileen Minier;
many nieces, nephews, special friends, Mark and Mary Borton.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki O’Brien; sister, Janet Camp and son, Dennis Brooks (Dimond).
