Lester Larry Tanner, age 66 of Burton, passed away on July 11, 2019. He was born on May 14, 1953 in Charleston, West Virginia to parents Lester and Violet (Jarett) Tanner. He was a courageous and strong headed, good hearted person. His heart was covered in gold and outlined with platinum; he was the kind of man who would give you his last dollar in his pocket and let you have the shirt off of his back. You could not keep a straight face around this man because he always had you smiling. He is survived by his brother, Gregory Tanner. Interment to take place on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 12 noon at Flint Memorial Park.
