CONRAD (Wainwright), Lavina S. – of Davison, age 91, passed away July 11, 2016 at Stonegate Health Campus-Lapeer. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Chris Glantz officiating. Burial will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison Missionary Church.
Lavina was born in Grayling, MI on October 2, 1924, daughter of the late Edward and Tressa (Geister) Wainwright. She married Andrew Conrad and he preceded her in death in 1980. Lavina worked at AC and IMA and was a member of Davison Missionary Church. She enjoyed going out with church friends, traveling, crocheting, knitting, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Lavina is survived by her children, Rose (Ed) Hardin, Jerome (Mary) Bukowiec; sons-in-law, Elmer Simons, Al Miller; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Carol Simons, Connie Miller; grandson, Elmer Simons, Jr.; five sisters, three brothers.
