Miarka, Ronald Richard - Age 77, of Flint Township, died December 19, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, December 27, 2019, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 PM to 8 PM and Friday 10 AM until the time of service. On Thursday evening, a Vigil service will take place at 7 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Ronald was born February 14, 1942 in Flint, the son of Casimir Charles and Helen Stella (Garlacz) Miarka. He graduated from Flint Northern High School, Class of 1960. Ronald married Pasqualina Naso in Flint on February 29, 1964. He owned and operated Dort Meats Inc., formerly S&S Cheese for many years. He is survived by his wife, Pasqualina; children, Casimir (Jennifer) Miarka of Linden, Cara (Steve) Sullivan of SC., Craig Miarka of Auburn Hill's; brother, Stanley (Carol) Miarka of Phoenix, AZ.; mother-in-law, Maria Naso of Hudson, FL; sister-in-law's, Josephine (Douglas) Bully, Rosemary (Michael) Howay, Anna (David) Pras, Vito (Brittany) Naso; grandchildren, Brianna, Dylan, Chelsea, Shaun; extended family, Jessica Anderson, Carson and Collin Samson; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Diane and Gary Baker, Dan and Eva Kruglowski, Ron and Ruth Wolski, also McLaren Hospice nurses Shelly and CiCi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Casimir and Helen; stepfather, Louis Wiederman; father-in-law, Santoro; mother-in-law, Pearl.
