Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Sutherland of Grand Blanc, age 58, died Monday July 10, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday July 13, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Mr. Dan Savoie officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Cindy’s memory to the charity of your choice. Cynthia was born in Flint Michigan on February 1, 1959 the daughter of the late: Richard & Barbara (Splohn) Angellar, and has resided in the Grand Blanc area the last twenty-five years. She was joined in marriage to Guy Sutherland on June 22, 1985. Cindy loved watching her sons play baseball, and bowling. She often spent her vacations traveling to Las Vegas to watch her sons compete in their bowling tournaments. Cindy and her husband enjoyed traveling and looking at old cars and attending concerts. She leaves to cherish her memory; husband Guy, sons Nic and Travis. She also leaves her sisters; Dawn (Kevin) McCarty, Lisa Bacchus, and Nancy (Jeff) McLaughlin. Also her brother-in-law: Tony Sutherland, nieces, nephews, extended family and her beloved cat Sugar. She is preceded in death by daughter Erika Ann Sutherland. The family would like to express their thanks to Genesys Hospital Critical Care and Hospice Units and especially Drew for their support and compassion.
