POLLEY (HOEFT), Phyllis – age 86, passed away April 14, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center – Briarwood. A Funeral Service will be 1 PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Sunday. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Phyllis was born in Adrian, MI on June 15, 1929, daughter of the late Clarence and Rose (Rier) Demlow. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Phyllis enjoyed playing Bunco, bowling and playing cards. She also enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Carol (Larry) Harmon, Vickie (Jim) Pugmire, Allen (JoLee) Hoeft; step-children, Cheryl (Brad) Dormire, Berry (Gay) Polley, Linda Polley; sister-in-laws, Katie Demlow, Pat (Jim) Metzger; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husbands, Duane Hoeft and Sherl Polley; brothers, Larry and Richard Demlow; grandson, Steve Harmon. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Briarwood Nursing Staff and to Heartland Hospice for their loving care.
