CANADYAN (LAMMY) Kristine Marie – Age 63, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating.
Entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio or the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2-8 p.m. Thursday
and 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Kristine was born on January 20, 1952 in Flint, Michigan, the wonderful daughter of Gloria (Heidenreich) and Ronald Lammy.
Kristine attended Flushing High School and lived in the Flint area most of her adult life. She lived in Lancaster, PA for some years to be close to and work with her mother at her business. After returning to the Flint area she worked for a time in the family business, Modern Concrete, with her father, brother, Ron and sister, Deb.
Kristine was a gifted and talented artist, whose passions included leather tooling, oil and acrylic painting, pastels and later jewelry making. She gave many of her paintings and jewelry to her family, who will cherish them even more now.
Kristine married her soulmate, Art, on November 28, 2009. Kris was a loving mother and grandmother, and she always relished spending time with family and friends. Kris especially enjoyed traveling to Canada to visit with Art’s wonderful family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish the wonderful memories are, mother, Gloria; father, Ron, loving and caring husband, Art; sons, Robert Ladd and special friend, Penny, Ron (Ivy) McTaggart of Clio; daughter, Krista McTaggart and special friend, Jeff of Royal Oak; brother, Ron (Marti) Lammy II of Flushing;
sister, Deb (Bruce) Campbell of Clarkston;
nieces, Stephanie Lammy (Eric) Dahl of Chicago, IL, Lauren (Ron) Bisti of Clarkston, Katie Campbell (fiance’, Nick) of Waterford;
nephew, Ron (Carissa) Lammy III of Flushing;
her loving grandchildren, Hannah, Derek, Holly, Zack, Aurora, Landon and Evangelina;
her special aunt, Sandra;
great-nephews, Evan and Bennet;
great-niece, Audrey;
special sisters-in-law, Carol and Rhonda;
brother-in-law, John.
She was preceded in death by grandson, Hunter and loving niece, Megan Lammy.
