Marlene V. Stevenson passed into the arms of the Lord Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 3-8pm with a Rosary Service at 7pm at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5191 Richfield Rd., Flint. Father William Wegher celebrating. Visitation will take place at 10am until the start of service. Interment will take place immediately following Mass at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Marlene was born January 21, 1925 to Marlin and Mary (Malee) Crum in Portage, Pennsylvania. She married John Stevenson, her husband of 70 years, on February 19, 1944 in Flint. Marlene was employed by Hurley Medical Center as a nurse. She was also an active founding member of Holy Rosary Parish. She is survived by children: Mary Ann Stevenson McKay, John “Bill” Stevenson, Kathleen Gordon, Lois (Kevin) Lawrence, Diana (Vaughn) Smith, Theresa (Larry) Muxlow, James (Connie) Stevenson, Jacquelyn (Mike) Murphy, and Patricia (Jeff Quinn) Fries; 24 grandchildren: Lisa (Mark), Angela, Kevin (Patty), Kent, Kerry, Elora, Amy (Tim), Bryan, Kris (Jenni), Russell, Joylynn (Scott), Shannon, Chad, Jessica, Kristin, Zackary, Troy, Jason (Jamie), Nathan, Kayla, Mallory, Emily, Andrea, and Nick; 17 great grandchildren: Lindsey, Jacob, Kama, Caleb, Mya, Madison, Aidan, Dezrick, Jayden, Dominic, Faith, Connor, Carson, Madison, Nolan, Jackson, and Linus. She was preceded in death by her husband John; brother, Bill; son-in-law Paul Gordon; great grandson, Adam.
