Smithwick, Glenn William, of Flushing, age 71, died at home on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor John Smithwick will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home until the time of the service.
Glenn was born on April 15, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to William and Irma Smithwick. He was a Flushing High School graduate and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Baker College. He was a United States Army veteran, and served his country during the Vietnam War. He married Margaret Kaes on February 26, 1966.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret; children, Shari Barr and Michelle (Jeff) Rak; grandchildren, Benjamin, Cody (Brittany), and Danielle; and great-grandchildren, Westin, Charlotte, Wyatt, and JáNielle. |
