ANDERSON, KERMIT D. “Andy” – of Clio, age 78, died on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at McLaren Regional Medical Center of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Bob Leming officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 3PM until 8PM and on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM. Private Inurnment will be held in Great Lakes National Cemetery - Holly, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Andy was born November 6, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to the late Donnald and Anna (Doutre) Anderson. He graduated from Kearsley High School in Flint. Andy married Angela “Angie” Parizeau on March 7, 1964. Mr. Anderson is a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a truck driver for General Motors before retiring with 30 years seniority. Andy enjoyed going out to eat, visiting friends, and traveling. He enjoyed sharing about his adventures and was a great storyteller.
Surviving are: Children: Michael Anderson, Laura Anderson, Kermit “Bud” (Karen) Anderson, Jr., and Debbie Lovasz; 12 grandchildren: Michael, Tori, Kora, Matthew, Angie, Tommy, Abby, Kasie, Kayla, Kenny, Tristan, and Ruby; 6 great grandchildren; Siblings: Beverly (Roy) Hall, Edward (Jeanie) Anderson, Madeline (Bill) Alarie, and Donn (Peggy) Anderson-Alarie; Former wife, Angie Anderson.
