THOMASON, Coy L. - Of Flint, age 83, died Friday, May 17, 2019
at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint,
Pastor Rob Prince and Dr. Steve Anthony officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Contributions may be made to the Central Church of the Nazarene.
Visitation 10am Wednesday at church until the time of the service.
Coy was born in Flint on April 16, 1936, the son of the late Ogal and Ethel (Story) Thomason. On August 8, 1959, he married Ruth Seifert at First Reformed Church of Flint. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School, Class of 1954. Coy worked at the General Motors V8 Plant for 40 years. He was a member of Central Church of the Nazarene for 54 years; A.H.S.G.R.; and retired Men’s Fellowship of Flint.
Surviving are wife, Ruth;
children, Katie (Denis) Johnstonbaugh;
grandchildren, Alex Thomason, Tori Nichols, Kayla Nichols, Conner Nichols;
and sister, Gyl (Terry) Lantz.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Thomason and brother, Stan Thomason.
