Crawley Jr., David D. of Flushing, age 56, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Flushing Community Church, 9500 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing. Pastor Terry Bate will officiate. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
David was born in Flint, Michigan, on April 10, 1960, the son of David and Paula (Glass) Crawley. He married Debora Deaton in Swartz Creek, Michigan, on April 11, 2013. David loved music, especially guitars, model cars and railroads, and cooking for friends and family at home and during parties. He also enjoyed watching old television shows, especially westerns. David had a great sense of humor; he was light-hearted and down to earth. He was also a fighter and courageously fought for two years against cancer.
David is survived by his wife, Debora; children, Aaron (Velvet), Patrick (Samantha), Stephanie (Darick), Sara (Ben), Chelsea; nine grandchildren; brothers, Danny (Amy), Kevin (Tina), Jesse (Katie), Justin; cousin, Mike; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael and Brian. |
