HUSTON, Loren I. – of Clio, age 87, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at McLaren of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 11, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Fr. Jay Gantz officiating. Private burial in W. Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8PM and on Friday from 10AM until time of services at 11AM.
Loren was born June 3, 1926 in Flint to the late Floyd and Kittie (Salmon) Huston. He lived in the Clio area most of his life. Loren married Betty Elenbaas on May 1, 1946. He served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1952. Mr. Huston retired from Ternstedt in 1984 with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #326. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Surviving are: wife, Betty; children, Ron (Pat) Huston of Clio, Robert Huston of Burton, Kathy Hosmer of NJ; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Russell Huston of Clio; nieces and nephews.
