EMMENDORFER, Mary A. “Annette” – of Montrose, age 82, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Pastor Hal Phillips officiating. Burial to follow in Montrose Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2PM until 8PM and on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Annette was born April 14, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to the late Verlin and Edith (Bellant) Edenburn. She retired from Montrose Schools after 30 years of service. Annette married Robert E. Emmendorfer on August 3, 1957 in Flint. He preceded her in death on November 28, 2001. She enjoyed bingo, NASCAR and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children: Robert (Chris) Emmendorfer Jr. and Kim Fortenberry; Grandchildren: Jason (Megan) Emmendorfer, Amber (Preston) Taylor, Will (Becky) Emmendorfer, Nate (Melanie) Mendows, Nina (Justin) Stunder, Aaron (Mackenzie) Fortenberry, Jamie Wamac, and Scott (Jamie) Fortenberry; 13 great grandchildren; Sisters: Linda Luark, Judy (Smiley) Lefler and Shirley (Robert) Munsell; Brothers: Leslie (Jeannie) Edenburn, Dennis (Geri) Edenburn, Fred (Sandy) Edenburn, James (Becky) Edenburn, Norman Edenburn, Rick (Brenda) Edenburn, and Eddie (Terri) Edenburn. She was also preceded in death by: Daughter, Cindy Womac; Brother, Daniel Edenburn; Sisters: Michelle, Peggy, and Alice; Son-in-law, Brian Fortenberry and close friend of the family, Chris Davis.
