PRINCING, Kimberly Sue – age 71, was gently and peacefully welcomed to Heaven by the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from her home in Lapeer, MI. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 1 PM Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will welcome visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue of Lapeer, in Kimberly’s memory.
Kim was born in Flint, MI on December 28, 1953, daughter of the late John “Jack” and Beverly (Harvey) Look. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1972. Through the years, Kim grew her family, having four wonderful and amazing children. Kim was a proud UAW GM Skilled Trades Millwright from local #599 and #5960, retiring in 2009. She proudly pursued further education and foreign languages, becoming fluent in French. Kim loved life and people; she would do anything for anyone. She cherished quilting and crafting, her garden, animals (especially bats and cats), thunderstorms and weather, and everything nostalgia. Most of all, she fiercely loved and protected her family and her children, all of whom she referred to in their own special nickname. Kim brought a light into the world of people that will never be forgotten. Her stories, humor, wit and intelligence. Her love for all of those that she cherished will always be remembered. This will be a void in our lives that will never be filled again.
Kim is survived by her loving children: Gina and Krista Floria, Daniel Yaklin, and Kimberlynn (Joe) Gilmet; bonus children: David, Jamie, and DJ Princing; grandchildren: Jacqulyn, Zachary, and Alivia Floria; brother, Sean Lucan; nephew, Brandon; close family friend, Brian Sparks, and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Addie Reiss; grandparents, Herb and Vera Harvey; parents, Jack and Beverly Look; uncle, Jack Harvey, and great-grandson, Cain.
