WICHERT-DICE, Leona E. – of Clio, age 82, died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center of Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery – Arbela Twp. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 3PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Leona was born October 18, 1934 in Midland, Michigan to the late Harry and Margaret (Martin) Wilkinson. She married Ernest Wichert on September 3, 1955. He preceded her in death April 19, 1991. Leona later married Joel Dice on November 4, 1993. He preceded her in death September of 2013. She enjoyed playing bingo and her scratch off lottery tickets. Leona also enjoyed deer hunting, bird watching, gardening, rummage sales, and word searches. She loved her cats, but above all, loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are: Children: Bonnie Erfourth, Connie (Roger) McFatridge, Richard (Tricia) Wichert, Joyce (Brent) Matzke, and Robert Wichert; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren; 1 sister; 1 brother; Several nieces and nephews. Leona was also preceded in death by her children: Clifford Bentley, Thomas Wichert, and Arlene Brown; 1 grandson; 1 great grandson, and her siblings.
