Matlock, L. Eudell, age 93, of Montrose, inherited her heavenly home Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Hospice House of Shiawassee County in Owosso, MI. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at North Flushing Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Lewis officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in New Lothrop. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Steve Holland, Chad Holland, Ben Matlock, Casey Herald, Tim Ingram, Ashley Matlock, Cory McMullen and Brandon McMullen.
Eudell was born on July, 14, 1923, in Cave City, Arkansas the daughter of Alvis and Gertha (Felts) Bell. She married M. Wayne Matlock in Cave City, AR, on January 10, 1948. She was a good christian woman who adored her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, word search, gardening, fishing and a game of skip bo.
She is survived by 6 children; Karen Smith of Swartz Creek, Larry and wife Terry Matlock of Owosso, Pat and husband Merlin Herald of Corunna, Donna and husband Jim Ingram of Montrose, Ken and wife Frankie Matlock of Owosso, Kathy McMullen of Burton; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Albert Bell and Velmus Bell, and sister, Novelene Garrison, all of Cave City, AR; and 2 great-great-grandsons. |
