MICHEL, Beulah May (Farr) - Of Flushing, formerly of North Fort Myers, Florida, age 104, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Tom Knight officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Beulah was born in Whitesburg, Michigan on September 21, 1912, the daughter of the late Bela and Ethel (Wymer) Farr and was a resident of Clio most of her life before moving to North Fort Myers, Florida in November, 1976. On May 5, 1935, she married Karl Michel in Clio and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1998. She was a member of Faith Missionary Church.
Surviving are daughters, Karol and husband Louis Mitchell and Faith Chapman;
sons, Karl Jr. and David L. Michel;
10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren;
brothers, Merton (Beverly) Farr, Elwin (Jean)Farr and Francis Farr;
sisters, Eileen Wiederhold, Lula Belle (Richard) Collings and Donna Belle Kaufman;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Leslie, Rex and Wayne Farr, sisters, Dorothy Lerche and Ruth Wardosky, daughter-in-law, Rosey Michel and son-in-law, Robert Chapman.
