LUGINBUHL, Beverly (Hemingway) – of Burton, age 81, passed away December 19, 2014 at home. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield Rd., Flint; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Visitation will be 3-7 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Tuesday, visitation will be at the church from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Beverly was born in Flint, MI on March 3, 1933, daughter of the late Fredrick and Emolyn (Rice) Hemingway. She married the love of her life, Walter Luginbuhl on October 25, 1952 and he survives her. Beverly was very proud of graduating from Flint Technical High School. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Beverly enjoyed camping, reading and cooking. Her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 62 years, Walter; children, Kay (Terry) Bailey, James (Dawn) Luginbuhl, Joan (Richard) Philp; grandchildren, Terry, Zachary, Rebecca, Bailey, Sarah Parrish, Rachel and Jacob Luginbuhl, Kevin and Danielle Philp; four great-grandchildren; brother, Lawrence (Gloria) Hemingway. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
