DYCUS, Lagalia J. – of Flint, age 59, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Genesys of Grand Blanc. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Lagalia’s Life will be held at a later date.
Lagalia was born October 2, 1958 in Flint, Michigan to Lloyd Jr. and Thelma (Williams) Dycus. She was a member of Church of Christ in Flint. Lagalia was a happy person who could have fun doing anything. She enjoyed singing karaoke with friends, and her "girl dates" to the casino. She was a wonderful mother and best friend to her daughter and grand dogs. Her kind and loving soul was infectious. She brought joy into everyone's life that she met. She was the most wonderful baker and was known as everyone's "cake lady."
Surviving are: Daughter, Jamie Dycus; Brothers: Ronnie (Ronda) Dycus, Tracy Dycus, and Bradley Dycus; Sister, Susan Rock; Nieces: Kim Houle, Jacklyn (Matt) Coe, and Nicole (Scott) Altheide; Great nieces & nephews; Stepfather, Donald Harper; Grand dogs: Frankie and Sammie.
